Wednesday Salon West UPDATE September 2012

It’s going to be soon almost a full year since we stopped our merry monthly discussion gatherings and while I miss them in many ways, we are not ready to resume yet, hosting being hard with sadness still present in our hearts. Will keep you posted on when the urge overwhelms and the salons return.

Yet again, I must reiterate my profound admiration to Diana and David who have not missed a beat in over 25 yrs and who help me live vicariously through their weekly Salon invites, catching up to a perspective on events here and abroad I had not heard elsewhere.

In the meant time, I am delving head first into building a great company, myBestHelper, cofounded with Rob Attwell, is an awesome idea that is now real – go have a look at www.mybesthelper.com/friends and we disrupt how we can find babysitters, nannies etc – find, book and pay on-line. Families and caregivers can communicate on the site, verify all trust related questions etc. We are launched in Vancouver and perfecting it here before spreading south and east.
